Are there more new job postings in Texas? Yes, new job postings in Texas rose by 32% in the last four weeks, from 43,698 to 57,721. This increase is higher than the overall US rise of 23% in new job postings during the same period.
Why did job postings increase in Texas? The rise may be attributed to several factors. It could be driven by increased hiring activity from major employers like Domino's, AutoZone, and Albertsons Companies, which collectively added thousands of job postings. Additionally, the demand for roles such as Software Engineer, Product Manager, and Full Stack Engineer likely contributed to the overall growth.
Other top states also saw increases in job postings. California's new job postings grew by 28% and Florida's by 31% over the same four week period. These figures suggest a notable expansion in job opportunities across several major US states.
