Full Stack Developer LOCATION: Alexandria, VA

Duties and Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and unit test application / system components
• Participate in product requirement and design reviews with product managers and other engineers.
• Develop time-estimates for work assignments.
• Develop light technical documentation, and support the QA, release, and production support processes.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 8+ yrs. experience and successful track record in the design, development, documenting and testing of web-based applications on large-scale software systems
• Java 8+ development experience and knowledge of Java enterprise technologies a plus:
• Strong OO design patterns and concepts
• Working knowledge with HTML5, CSS 3, Javascript, AJAX and frameworks (jQuery, Bootstrap)
• Servlets/JSPs, JDBC, Spring JDBC Templates
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks (Struts, Spring)
• Experience with REST web services, JSON, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, XML, WSDL, JAXB
• Experience with Tomcat 7+, Apache Tiles
• Experience developing SQL and/or PL/SQL queries, packages, and procedures.
• Working knowledge with RDBMS (Oracle)
• Experience with source control technologies (GIT/Stash, SVN)
• JSP/CSS/HTML/JavaScript/JQuery

• Experience with application servers’ (Websphere, Weblogic (preferable)
