About the job
About the company Our client is a technology company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the product layer of a hardware-connected software platform, spanning backend services, live media delivery and user-facing applications. The role involves setting early technical direction and delivering complete features that customers can operate without engineering support. What you'll do - Deliver the complete user experience across a wearable device, backend services and a companion application. - Build and tune a live media streaming pipeline that stays within strict latency limits. - Own backend APIs and the data layer, keeping them dependable, observable and ready to scale. - Create client applications that let users configure, oversee and get started with the product. - Set up the deployment and release process so new builds reach devices in the field safely. - Shape product architecture and engineering practices as the team grows. - Act as a cross-stack generalist, tracing issues from the user interface through the backend to the device. Requirements What we're looking for - 2 to 5 years of experience launching new products with real users, from first build onward. - End-to-end ownership of full applications, covering backend, APIs, data layer and the client users interact with. - Early-stage startup or founding engineer experience, or background in a similarly high-intensity engineering culture. - Hands-on work with live audio or video delivery and other time-sensitive data paths. - Experience integrating AI or LLM-based features into a product. - Strong computer science or engineering foundation, or an equivalent record of shipping. - Full-stack ability on a modern cloud stack, including TypeScript and PostgreSQL. - Ability to make sound, scalable architectural decisions independently. - Willingness to work on-site five days per week. Bonus points - Background with media-intensive platforms or performance-sensitive systems. - Exposure to industrial settings. - Interest in frontend, design or UX craft. - A history of releasing apps to consumer app stores, native or cross-platform. - Relevant big-company experience on a closely related team, combined with a builder mindset such as founding or side projects.
