Senior Full Stack Engineer – React, Node.js & Azure

Location: Remote – LATAM Industry: Banking & Financial Services Seniority: Senior About the Role 10Pearls is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to support a U.S.-based client in the financial services industry. We are looking for a hands-on engineer with expertise in full stack application development, Azure cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the entire technology stack, from developing modern web applications and APIs to managing cloud resources, deployments, and production environments. This role requires a strong ownership mindset, the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, and a focus on delivering secure, reliable, and scalable solutions within a financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using React, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript/JavaScript. Design and maintain RESTful APIs, including documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI. Manage PostgreSQL databases, including queries, configurations, and performance optimization. Deploy, configure, and support cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage Accounts, Azure Database for PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Key Vault, Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure Log Analytics Workspace (LAW). Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes-based application deployments. Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and GitHub. Monitor application performance, infrastructure health, and production issues using Datadog. Configure and maintain Nginx and develop Bash scripts for operational automation. Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and deployment issues across multiple environments. Apply security, reliability, and performance best practices appropriate for financial services applications. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver reliable technical solutions. Required Qualifications (Must Have) 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on full stack development. Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript/JavaScript . Experience building, integrating, and documenting RESTful APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI. Strong experience with PostgreSQL. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure , including AKS, Storage Accounts, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Key Vault, ACR, and Log Analytics Workspace. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI. Proficiency with GitHub and Git-based development workflows. Experience using Datadog for observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Working knowledge of Nginx and Bash scripting. Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications and cloud infrastructure. Understanding of application security, access management, and secure deployment practices. Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and communication abilities. Nice to Have Experience with AWS Route 53 and DNS management. Previous experience in banking, fintech, credit unions, or other regulated industries. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Azure Bicep. Familiarity with security and compliance practices in financial services. Experience with automated testing and deployment optimization. Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architectures. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong cloud infrastructure capabilities who can independently support both application development and operational responsibilities. They should demonstrate hands-on experience with React and Node.js development, Azure infrastructure management, Kubernetes deployments, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD automation, with a focus on reliability, security, and production support.
