About the job

The Opportunity The Senior Product Manager owns a KWI product area end to end. You will evolve what clients run today and define where the product goes next. You are accountable for what it delivers, not only for what ships: adoption across the client base, measurable gains for the retailers using it, and a delivery pace the team can hold. This is a hands-on role on a small product team. You will work directly with the retail teams who use your product every day, with engineering and design, and with the client-facing teams who see the problems first, in an AI-led, spec-driven development model. The Company We are a small team with a big vision: to be the premier provider of cloud technology solutions for retailers. KWI offers a complete, unified commerce solution, specifically designed to help specialty retailers grow their business. Our portfolio of customers includes Pandora, Bluemercury, Tom Ford and many other globally recognizable brands. We combine Point of Sale, Merchandising, Order Management, CRM, and Loyalty into one cloud-based platform. We are a values- and mission-driven organization, and we believe that if we develop and demonstrate leadership in our strategy, operations, and people, we will continue to drive product innovation and service excellence. AI at KWI We are serious about AI. Not as a buzzword, but as a real part of how we work. We expect every member of our team to actively use AI tools to work smarter, move faster, and do more with less. We are not looking for someone who has heard of AI. We are looking for someone who can walk us through how they use it day to day: in their current role, in how they organize their work, and in how they solve problems. Curiosity and a willingness to experiment are non-negotiable. As a Senior Product Manager, you excel at the following core competencies Retail Domain Depth – You understand how your domain works in practice, whether point of sale, merchandising and inventory, order management and fulfillment, or platform and integrations, and what breaks downstream, in stores and across channels, when the data or the process falls out of sync. Outcome Ownership – You define success in numbers before work starts, and you stay accountable to those numbers long after the release notes go out. AI-Augmented Discovery and Delivery – You use AI tools daily to research, synthesize, prototype, and run product operations, and you have a clear point of view on where they help and where they do not. Spec-Driven Thinking – You write structured, unambiguous specifications that engineering and AI coding agents can build from without guessing at intent. Strategic Sequencing – You see where the category is heading and turn that into a roadmap with tradeoffs you can defend to clients and to leadership. Data Fluency – You get to the answer yourself. You dig into the data, read the usage, and separate signal from the loudest anecdote in the room. Partnership and Influence – You build trust with clients, executives, and engineers, and you can hold a position without losing the room. Autonomy – You operate independently on a small team where the roadmap, the process, and the answer are often yours to define.
