Software Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast-growing software company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work across the full software product, from backend services to user-facing features, owning projects end to end. Rely on AI-assisted development tools and apply sound judgment on what to build and what to release. Partner directly with clients and see your contributions go live early. What you'll do - Build and maintain backend services, front-end features and cloud infrastructure for a software platform. - Develop systems that process and extract meaning from large volumes of documents. - Shape how AI-driven automation behaves and turn client requests into finished deliverables. - Decide what to build and take responsibility for the quality of what is released. - Use AI programming tools extensively to move quickly while keeping quality high. - Work closely with clients, sometimes face to face, to understand needs and deliver solutions. - Release contributions quickly after joining and learn from early feedback. Requirements What we're looking for - Current or previous experience as a software engineer. - Strong backend development experience. - Strong Linux and cloud infrastructure experience. - Heavy day-to-day use of AI programming tools. - High agency and comfort with ambiguous problems. - Enthusiasm, conscientiousness and confidence. - Genuine desire to see the company succeed. - Comfortable working on-site five days a week, 9AM to 6PM. Bonus points - Experience in a leadership individual-contributor role, such as technical lead or project lead. - Experience in a small startup engineering environment. Benefits Compensation and benefits - Base salary: USD 140,000 to 240,000 per year - Equity - Health, dental and vision coverage Location and work model - Seattle, WA, United States - On-site, 5 days per week in office - Full-time
