About the job
Under general supervision and in accordance to established policies and procedures, the Data Entry Associate reviews and codes medical documents and/or charge tickets as assigned. Identifies, documents and provides follow up on deficiencies. Processes edits/denials and makes necessary corrections. Performs all other duties as required. Job Description/Responsibilities: Reviews encounter to determine the appropriate action required. Evaluates medical records documentation to determine correct coding.
